Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been a leading lady in Hollywood since her 20s — so it's no surprise she has a thing or two to say about aging in the spotlight!
“You’ve seen me age. I’ve been in showbiz for so long. From the first time people saw me on 'Saturday Night Live' until now... it’s no secret that I’ve gotten older," the 54-year-old actress said in a new interview.
"I’ve gotten older in front of you and that is odd — it is still so strange to me that everyone has seen me age on a public stage. It’s totally changing and difficult."

Shortly after landing a coveted cast member spot on 'SNL' in the early 1980s, Julia rose to stardom with her role as Elaine Benes on the hit NBC sitcom, 'Seinfeld.' In 2005 she was cast as the lead in 'The New Adventures of Old Christine,' and today stars as Selina Meyer on the HBO comedy 'Veep.'
With so much success comes dozens and dozens of red carpet appearances — which the mom-of-two has effortlessly perfected over the years thanks to a few selfies!
"One thing I learned in the past 15 years, is if you aren’t sure about how you look, take a picture of yourself... I know that sounds crazy," she shared.

As for how she keeps looking her best on a daily basis? Julia says staying fit is all about being active!
"Besides hiking, I like spin classes and I like doing cardio. I do try to do cardio — or anything aerobic — one day a week if I can because I think it’s so important and anyone feels better after they do it. I’m admittedly a lot better in smaller classes and groups though; when there are gobs of people, I start to get self-conscious," she told 'NewBeauty.'
