Jimmy further told reporters he is planning to undergo targeted radiation on his brain to combat the cancer in the coming weeks. "It's in the hands God, whom I worship, and I'll be prepared for anything that comes. I'm ready for anything and looking forward to a new adventure," he told reporters during a Thursday, Aug. 20 press conference.
Following the unfortunate news that the illness had spread to other parts of his body, the politician said he is now at ease with his diagnosis. "I've had a wonderful life," Jimmy said. "I've had thousands of friends."
Our thoughts are with Jimmy and his family during this difficult time.
