The former president, 90, has revealed his liver cancer has also spread to his brain — and he's fighting the disease with a new drug specifically designed to fight melanoma infecting several organs throughout a patient's body.

Jimmy further told reporters he is planning to undergo targeted radiation on his brain to combat the cancer in the coming weeks. "It's in the hands God, whom I worship, and I'll be prepared for anything that comes. I'm ready for anything and looking forward to a new adventure," he told reporters during a Thursday, Aug. 20 press conference.

Following the unfortunate news that the illness had spread to other parts of his body, the politician said he is now at ease with his diagnosis. "I've had a wonderful life," Jimmy said. "I've had thousands of friends."
