Teddy meet baby!
In an adorable stop-motion video by Minnesota couple Chris and Aimee Knutson, the pair tell the story of a stuffed teddy bear who anxiously awaits the arrival of their newborn.
"We made it just for [son] Henry and I was a little nervous about posting it at all," Chris says in a new interview. "But I couldn't help it because I was pretty proud of it and wanted others to see it. Surprisingly, people like it."
Not surprising at all for us, given the video's expert editing and super sweet premise. Overall, the duo shares the 96-second clip took around 60 to 80 hours to complete.
Beginning with the teddy bear finding the positive pregnancy test, the stuffed animal becomes more and more excited as he watches the crib being built and seeing the first sonogram.
The last shot shows the new best friends meeting for the first time, which Chris admits turned out better than expected! "It looks like [Henry's] kind of smiling when he sees the bear," he tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "We got kind of lucky there."
