Mary Poppins is returning to the big screen!
Yesterday, Variety announced Disney is developing a new version of the classic movie-musical under the direction of Rob Marshall.
The upcoming flick will reportedly take place in London — 20 years after the original tale — and follow author P.L. Travers' continuing storylines about Mary Poppins' adventures with the Banks children.

Julie, 81, was just 30-years-old when she landed the role of magical nanny Mary Poppins and later won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance. She has since starred in many other films — including The Sound of Music, The Princess Diaries, Despicable Me and Shrek Forever After — and was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.
