Kate got to show off her sailing ability as well as her killer legs in a rare appearance while wearing shorts as she competed in the King’s Cup regatta at Cowes on the Isle of Wight in August. She and William even went head-to-head in the regatta on separate boats in support of their charitable causes.

The duchess wore her most glamorous look to date in a glittering gold Jenny Packham gown to the James Bond No Time To Die world premiere in London on September 28. Both Prince William and the film’s star Tom Cruise along with the rest of the world were in awe of her movie-star quality beauty and presence.

Instead of her signature bouncy curls, the royal wore her brunette locks straight over her shoulders during her appearance in late January. She also tucked the right part of her hair behind one ear, while the left side flowed beautifully beside her face.

2022

A future queen and her gorgeous family! Kate looked so regal while standing with Prince William and their three children on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on June 5, the final day of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. It would be their last public appearance alongside the monarch, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.

Upon the queen’s death, King Charles III elevated William and Kate from the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge to Prince and Princess of Wales. William is now first in the line of succession for the throne behind his reigning father, and one day Kate will be his Queen Consort.
