One Big Brood! See 10 Fun Facts You Probably Don’t Know About Chip and Joanna Gaines’ 5 Kids

Throughout their nearly five-year run on HGTV, fans all around the world fell in love with Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines. As viewers got a glimpse into the lives of the Fixer Upper stars, they also became familiar with the couple’s five childrenDrake, Ella, Duke, Emmie and Crew.

Since saying goodbye to their beloved TV show in 2017, the lives of Chip and Jo have drastically changed. Not only have they expanded their brood by one after welcoming baby Crew in June 2018, but the brunette beauty and her hysterical hubby have also been growing their empire. Chip and Jo have been working on launching a TV network and managing their new coffee shop.

No matter how successful their Magnolia empire is, though, nothing beats the love Chip and Jo have for their five sweet children. “Motherhood means everything to me,” the lifestyle guru previously gushed to Jenna Bush Hager. “Everything else in my life can go away, but that’s my thing. That’s what wakes me up. It’s my heart — these kids.”

During the interview, Joanna noted she never really thought about how much her children could change her life. “You just think kids will fit into your life, and then I had these babies and didn’t realize how they would have every string of my heart. Everything I do, from the moment I get into my car to drive to work, I’m thinking, ‘Did I do everything I could to make those kids know that I love them?’” the mom of five told Jenna. “I’m a segmented person, but there is not a moment when they’re not in my mind. I never thought it would be like that.”

Parenthood has definitely changed Joanna for the better. Even though the We Are the Gardeners author already has her hands full at home, Chip is still thinking about having more kids. Just don’t expect an announcement too soon — the parents are just enjoying life as a beautiful family of seven.
