The Gaines family is now a party of seven! Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines are now parents of five kids after Joanna gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday, June 23. Chip took to Twitter to announce their son's birth, and just hours laters, Joanna took to Instagram to share the first photos of their adorable newborn son and she even revealed his name.

"Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love," Joanna, 40, wrote in her caption. "He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early — which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful."

She also shared another sweet photo from the hospital that featured her and Chip's four older children — 13-year-old Drake, 11-year-old Ella, nine-year-old Duke, and eight-year-old Emmie Kay — all gathered around the door to the delivery room trying to take a peek or hear what was going on inside. "One of my favorite pics a friend showed me after Crew was born. They couldn't wait to meet their new baby brother," she wrote in the caption.

It seems like Chip, 44, found a way to drop a no-so-subtle hint about their son's name with his carefully worded tweet when he announced his birth. The proud papa had been dropping hints for months because he posted another photo of his four older children back in April, and he wrote, "I love my crew!" in the caption.

But Crew's name is also a break with the family's tradition. Chip and Joanna had a theme for their children's names, the boys each have names that start with the letter "D" and the girls each have names that start with the letter "E."
