Baby fever? Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines may already be the proud parents of five, but it looks like they might be thinking about adding another baby to their brood! In a preview of their interview on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, the proud dad revealed that they actually might want to have another child down the road.

While chatting about their family and their Magnolia empire, Chip, 44, couldn’t help but gush over his longtime wife and revealed he’s considering trying for a sixth child. “I could see Crew having a little sibling and me being like, ‘I love this woman!'” Chip gushed, according to Today. Although Joanna, 41, jokingly denied, saying “Oh, jeez, Willie, another subject,” the brunette beauty didn’t seem too opposed to the idea.

“When I’m 50, Chip’s going to want more kids. Just know, this is going to be the headline forever — Jo’s pregnant again,” the We Are the Gardeners author — who shares kids Drake, 14, Ella, 13, Duke, 11, Emmie Kay, 9, and Crew, 1, with her husband of 16 years — hilariously quipped. “Chip with children is like business — there’s never too many.”

Chip praised his wife for being the best mom while sharing a snap of Joanna and Crew snuggling on the couch. "This woman does a lot of things well! But I will say, the way she loves our kids is absolutely her crowning achievement," he gushed.

Although the handsome contractor seems dead set on having another kiddo, Joanna tried to be the voice of reason. “I’m like, ‘Chip I think we’ve got enough, I think we’re good!’ That’s how Chip is with children,” she sweetly explained. “He’s like, ‘I just think we can keep having them!’ I think Chip just loves a full plate.” Aww!

News of the couple’s possible pregnancy plans comes as quite a surprise considering they have had their hands full working on multiple projects for their Magnolia empire, including launching their upcoming TV network, opening their coffee shop, renovating an old hotel and much more. The adorable pair also welcomed their youngest child, Crew, just last year in June 2018.

Even though being the mom and dad of six kids sounds extremely overwhelming, we have no doubt parenting would be a cakewalk for these two. In fact, Chip and Jo’s former Fixer Upper co-star, Jimmy Don Holmes from JDH Iron Designs, once gushed to Closer Weekly about their admirable parenting skills.

“They’re amazing as parents — just like his parents and her parents,” Jimmy Don exclusively dished to Closer in January. “They’re so good with the kids! I feel like a better person because I got to know the Gaines and their parents— they’re all kind people.”
