Jennifer Aniston has always been dedicated to staying fit, so imagine how she felt when she let it go during filming for Cake!
When the actress stopped dieting and exercising to gain weight for the role, Jen says she dealt with some some serious repercussions.
"It's interesting when you stop exercising. It really was interesting how my serotonin levels went down," Jennifer, 45, said during an appearance on 'The Dr. Oz Show' this week. "My stamina was shot. I was cranky. I was irritable."

The former 'Friends' star added, "I'm usually really not any of those things. I found myself short. I was hungry like crazy."

The actress says putting on weight to play a woman in chronic pain for 'Cake' also negatively affected her state of mind.

"You realize exercise is just so important to our soul," she said. "Not just being able to fit into skinny jeans, to your state of mind, your soul, all of that."
Though Jennifer seems to have suffered undesirable side effects, all off her efforts seem to be paying off — as she recently received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama and continues to garner Oscar buzz for her portrayal.
