If there’s one thing we love to see in Hollywood is when celebrity kids get to work with their parents! Even though not all famous little ones are cut out for the careers of their mom or dad, they can still end up having a grand time working with their loved ones when they’re on set from time to time.
In fact, Nicole Kidman recently brought her two little girls — Faith, 8, and Sunday, 11 — to shoot a couple of scenes while she was filming Big Little Lies season 2. “There’s something wonderful about bringing your children to work, and them seeing what you do, and them being a part of it, and being interested and curious and feeling like it’s theirs as well,” the actress said on Good Morning America of the experience.

Melissa McCarthy and Vivian and Georgette
After Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s two young girls begged them to appear in Melissa’s 2016 movie The Boss, they couldn’t say no.
“They kept asking and we said no for months and [then] my oldest said, ‘Am I not allowed to even try?'” Melissa recalled to E! News. “She’s very smart and I said, ‘That’s good, you went right to it because I certainly can’t say you’re not allowed to try. So we spent the next month seeing really if she’d do it. She did great.”

Jennifer Lopez and Emme Muñiz
At only 11-years-old, Emme is already showing signs that she’s destined for greatness. In December 2018, she appeared in her mother’s music video “Limitless” and did an amazing job dancing next to her mom.
“She’s like, ‘Mom, I can do it,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh God.’ I said no for a long time and then finally I said yes. And I said, ‘Baby, are you sure? You can’t, halfway through, say you’re tired. You have to do it,'” Jennifer Lopez recalled about the whole ordeal to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. But once Emme got in front of the camera, her doubts quickly went away.
“I die. I die. I die,” she said about Emme’s amazing performance. “We really bonded.”

Drew Barrymore and Olive and Frankie
For the longest while Drew Barrymore was against her kids becoming child actors but everything soon changed once she realized that she just wants them to follow their dreams.
“I always thought the second they were born like, ‘Oh God, I don’t want you to be an actress.’ But what I really realized is that I just don’t want them to not have a childhood,” she recently explained to Us Weekly. “If they were to go into acting in an appropriate age, I’d be, like, the most supportive, fiercest lion for it. … Now I’m like, ‘If you want to do that and go into theater in high school and do that for a living, I’m behind you.’ I just want them to have, like, a normal childhood.”
Drew has also been teaching her girls how to make great career choices by letting them accompany her at work. This past March, she gushed about what it’s like to have Olive follow her around when she’s on the clock.
“I just like that she likes to hang with her mom,” she said. “I love to have her at my job and I love that she likes being there. Proud mom.”

Billy Joel and Alexa Ray Joel
She may get her singing chops from her dad but Alexa Ray Joel is her own person when she’s on stage! During a previous interview with Closer Weekly, Alexa revealed what it’s like to sing next to her dad, Billy Joel, when they do a show together for their fans.
“I’ve been singing ‘New York State of Mind’ with him at Madison Square Garden, which is a dream,” she gushed. And more than likely, Billy will be accompanying her in a duet for her upcoming wedding to Ryan Gleason.
“My dad doesn’t know it yet, but we’re doing a duet,” she said. “He’ll be cool with it. He’s very laid back, and he does whatever I want to do.” Now that’s a team!
