Cheers to Kelsey Grammer’s Blended Family! Learn All About the Sitcom Star’s 7 Kids

Kelsey Grammer is best known for his tremendous work on Frasier, the NBC show that lasted from 1993 to 2004 and was a spinoff of his hit series Cheers. But while the actor has had quite the career, he’s also a family man, having raised seven wonderful kids.

Kelsey became a dad through his four marriages and other relationships. The sitcom star kicked off his journey through fatherhood after walking down the aisle with his first wife, Doreen Alderman, in 1982, welcoming their daughter, Spencer Grammer, in 1983. However, when the two split in 1990, he welcomed his second daughter, Greer Grammer, with then-girlfriend Barrie Buckner, in 1992.

That same year, the Boss actor ended his relationship with Barrie and said “I do” to his second spouse, Leigh-Anne Csuhany. When they ended their marriage after one year in 1993, he moved on with model Camille Grammer. During their marriage, which lasted from 1997 to 2011, the former couple became the parents of Mason Grammer and Jude Grammer.

Following his split with the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kelsey walked down the aisle for the final time with his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh, in 2011. The lovebirds expanded the TV star’s family when the film producer gave birth to their first child together, Faith Grammer, in 2012. They’ve since become the parents of Kelsey “Gabriel” Grammer in 2014 and Auden “James” Grammer in 2016.

With seven kids in total, the Like Father actor couldn’t be more thrilled to be the matriarch of his beautiful family. “It’s fantastic — the energy is magnificent,” the Golden Globe winner exclusively told Closer in June 2018 of what it is like being around his kids. “I’m as young as they are.”

Kelsey also spoke about raising his blended brood with his wife, saying Kayte is such an incredible role model to their children. “She has a pristine and extraordinary ability to love,” he raved. “She loves being pregnant and being a mom.”

Considering there is a 33-year age gap between Kelsey’s oldest and youngest kids, a lot has changed about the way he parents over the years. Speaking with Closer at an event in 2018, Kelsey’s daughter Mason praised her father for becoming “a better dad after every child.”

“When I grew up, he was very strict,” she shared, revealing the actor has loosened up a little bit with experience. “Now, he’s more relaxed with my younger siblings. It’s a blast!”
