From Meghan vs. Kate to the Queen vs. Camilla — Check Out Every Royal Feud From Recent History!

Kate Middleton vs. Meghan Markle

As we previously mentioned, Kate, 37, and Meghan, also 37, have been at odds with each other for quite some time now. Even though things have calmed down since Meghan moved out of Kensington Palace with Harry, Kate and the Duchess of Sussex still seem to hold some animosity between each other.

“The bottom line is, they simply haven’t gotten to know each other,” one of Meg’s friends told Heat, and added that her feud with Kate is similar to the one between Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. Ouch! But things might be looking up for the two duchesses because Kate supposedly wishes that she and the former Deal or No Deal model can still be friends.

“Kate has always wanted a close female friend to attend royal events with and she really hopes that she and Meghan click soon.” So do we!

Prince William vs. Prince Harry

Hold onto your seats, because Kate and Meghan aren’t the only ones bickering in the royal family. According to Nick Bullen, executive producer of When Phillip Met Prince Philip: 60 Years of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Inside the Royal Wedding, Harry, 34, and William, 36, have had their differences, too.

“All brothers fall out. All families fall out. Their fallout at the moment is becoming public,” he told FOX News in March. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles are also trying to resolve this feud, but it looks like it may take longer than it looks.

“The Prince of Wales and the queen are working incredibly hard to try and make sure everybody reunites,” he said, but only time will tell. “We forget that they are people. We’ve all fallen out with our brothers and sisters over the years, and hopefully, it’ll be fine.” If Harry and William learn anything from this feud, it should be to always put your family first!

Queen Elizabeth vs. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall

It’s no secret that Queen Elizabeth, 93, hasn’t been so fond of her son’s second wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Their dispute goes all the way back to 2005 when Camilla, 71, and Charles, 70, tied the knot.

If you’ve read Tom Bower’s REBEL Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles recently, you know that the queen never wanted Charles to divorce his first wife, Princess Diana in 1996. But since his heart was already taken by another — ahem, Camilla — he had no choice but to move on.

The book also states that Queen Elizabeth once called Camilla a “wicked woman” and said she wanted “nothing to do with her” before the duchess married her son. The two seem to have worked it out because they attended the annual church service at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day on Monday, March 11, in cute matching outfits. What a way to make up!

Princes Charles vs. Princess Diana

OK, so this one isn’t exactly a royal feud, but Prince Charles and Princess Diana have certainly had their ups and downs. You could probably say these two should have never gotten married in the first place because Charles was still infatuated with Camilla when his engagement to Diana was announced. 

“I desperately wanted to get out of the wedding in 1981, when during the engagement I discovered just how awful the prospects were, having had no chance to get to know Diana beforehand,” the Prince of Wales reportedly told his friends, according to Robert Jobson’s book Charles at 70: Thoughts, Hopes, and Dreams.

Although the author claims that “neither of them was actually in love with the other,” Diana once told biographer Andrew Morton that she “desperately wanted [the marriage] to work.” She said, “I wanted to share everything together.”

However, once British 
prime minister John Major announced 
the royal couple’s separation on 
December 9, 1992, Lady Di later explained that her union with Charles wasn’t easy because there were “three of us in this marriage so 
it was a bit crowded.”

Two years after Diana did that interview, she passed away from a tragic car accident at age 36. Her family still misses her very much to this day.

Prince Philip vs. Sarah Ferguson

Another royal feud for the history books! The bad blood between Prince Philip, 97, and Princess Eugenie‘s mom, Sarah Ferguson, runs deep. If you want to know why, it’s apparently because of all the drama that Fergie, 59, gave her ex-husband and Philip’s son, Prince Andrew, during their 10-year marriage together.

“Prince Philip does not like being in the same building as her,” a source once told the Daily Mail. “He just can’t bring himself to forgive her for some of the outrageous things she has done.”

The source also noted that there would be “family friction” at Eugenie’s October wedding to Jack Brooksbank if Philip attended, but the only thing we saw was a beautiful ceremony between two people who are madly in love. How about that!

Thomas Markle vs. Meghan Markle

Ever since Meghan married Prince Harry last year, the former actress’ father, Thomas Markle, has had a lot of things to say about the royal family and his daughter’s decisions. During an interview with The Mail in August 2018, he accused Harry’s family of being like a “cult.”

“They are either like Scientologists or the Stepford family,” he said. “If they hear anybody say anything they just lock the doors. They need to speak up! They are cult-like — like Scientology — because they are secretive.”

“They close the door, pull the shades down and put their fingers in their ears so they don’t have to hear,” he added. “Maybe they have a secret handshake, too! You cannot ask a question of them — as they won’t answer.”

Meghan has apparently been so tired of her father talking about her new family in the press that she decided to cut off any sort of communication with him. “I’m really hurt that she’s cut me off completely,” Thomas, 74, previously shared to The Mail in a separate interview. “I used to have a phone number and text number for her personal aides at the palace, but after I said a few critical words about the royal family changing Meghan, they cut me off.”

Hopefully, Meghan decides to repair her relationship with her father soon because Archie might want to get to know his grandfather one day.

Samantha Markle vs. Meghan Markle

Where do we begin?! Samantha Markle has been at odds with her half sister Meghan for quite some time now and nothing seems to be getting better.

“She doesn’t have a heart,”Samantha, 54, previously said about Meghan who, as we learned in Meghan & The Markles: A Family at War, has supposedly been distancing herself from her dad’s side of the family. “So broken heart? No, his heart’s broken. She can’t turn herself into the victim here.”

This past September, she also took to Twitter to express how much she dislikes the Duchess of Sussex. “I am not candy coating anything anymore!” she said, per Daily Mail. “The DUCHA– should be humane to our father who has given her everything and this media crap can stop!”

“He was the one who was always there for her. Fake waves and smiles can stop. The DuchA– can bow to the daddy,” she continued. Ouch!

It might take a few years before these two are on good terms again.
