Report Says Kate Middleton And Meghan Markle Simply ‘Haven’t Gotten To Know Each Other’ Amid Feud Rumors

Multiple reports have suggested that Prince William and Prince Harry‘s wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, are feuding. However, according to Heat, while they aren’t best friends, they’re also reportedly not hating each other either.

“The bottom line is, they simply haven’t gotten to know each other” a friend of Meghan’s told the news outlet in a new interview. “They’ve hung out a bit, but Meghan and Harry’s relationship has been such a whirlwind, they haven’t spent much quality time with each other. They’re from very different worlds and don’t have much in common, other than marrying into the same family.”

However, Meg has reportedly taken the time to get to know Harry’s stepmother, Camilla Parker Bowles. Prince Charles‘ wife is allegedly teaching the former American actress to be her own woman. “Meghan is fiercely independent and not afraid to do things differently, while Kate is more compliant with palace wishes,” the pal added.

But that doesn’t mean Meg doesn’t respect her. “There’s no doubt Meg looks up to Kate and really admires her,” the insider noted. Meg has allegedly even joked that she and Kate are the “Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston” of the royals.

Perhaps because Kate is reportedly having a hard time accepting “Kate and Harry used to text every day, but now it’s difficult because he has a baby on the way and Kate doesn’t want to be seen as interfering. She misses having Harry around, though,” the source said. “Kate has always wanted a close female friend to attend royal events with and she really hopes that she and Meghan click soon.” So do we!
