Marie Osmond’s Hairstylist Cody Reveals His Favorite Part of Working With Her on ‘The Talk’
Could you imagine being lucky enough to work with Marie Osmond? Celebrity hairstylist Cody Renegar opens up about being the iconic singer and TV host’s right-hand man on The Talk and reveals his favorite aspect of the job while exclusively chatting with Closer Weekly.
“When I go out on stage during every commercial and I see her looking for me. There are times when I see her searching for me,” Cody gushes. “‘Cause my only job here, for me, is I only want to make her feel as beautiful as she is.”
The handsome hairdresser, who began styling the 60-year-old beauty’s brunette tresses on the hit CBS talk show earlier this year, explains why he takes so much pride in perfecting her look. “I only want her to feel how I see her,” Cody sweetly continues. “That’s my job, as a hairstylist, as any hairstylist that should be your job. You want your client to feel the most beautiful as they possibly can. I’m here to make her feel as gorgeous as she possibly can.”
While recalling his “favorite memory” with the “Paper Roses” songstress, Cody pointed out a specific picture he recently took “of Marie with her eyes closed” as he fixed her hair in between a break. “I was just thinking, in that moment, with her eyes closed, her learning back … in that moment, she trusted me with that all that she was,” he marvels. “And that is my favorite memory. Because she allows me to be creative and she just allows me to be who I truly am.”
Cody also praises Marie — who blew fans away when she debuted a gorgeous, blonde wig on The Talk earlier this month — for being as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. The hair professional even has something sweet to say about the Donny & Marie star’s bond with her fans.
“I think there’s a lot of people out there that have appreciated some of the honesty that I’ve given and things like that,” Marie tells Closer. “We’re all just going through this thing called life and I think that I don’t separate myself from it all. You know, we’re all just going through the same thing.”
After Marie takes a moment to give a sweet shout-out to her fans, Cody says, “Isn’t that amazing? I mean, what celebrity ever says that? And that’s why I’m here,” he adorably insists. Aww!
