We know what you did in quarantine! Jennifer Love Hewitt revealed she bit the bullet and dyed her hair pink while social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. The beloved actress shared a super cute pic of her new, hot pink hairdo via Instagram on Wednesday, April 1.

“The smile of a girl who just did at-home, hot pink highlights because what else can I do right now?” the 41-year-old beauty captioned her extremely relatable post. “Thanks @limecrimemakeup, these hair conditioners are easy and so fun!”

As Jennifer showed off her brunette-turned-fuchsia locks in the gorgeous selfie, she couldn’t help but tease about the trouble she’s going to put her hairstylist through once social distancing measures are lifted. Since COVID-19 became widespread in the U.S., stores, schools and other businesses have closed to limit transmission.

“@nikkilee901 don’t be mad lol,” the Client List actress joked. “I really miss you!” She even hilariously suggested that her beloved character on Fox’s 9-1-1 even adopt the sexy hairstyle. “Hey @911onfox, new look for Maddie?!” Jennifer quipped.

Considering how well hot pink suits the I Know What You Did Last Summer star, it’s no surprise her fans flooded her comments section with sweet messages. “Beautiful lady,” one fan gushed, while another echoed, “LOVE IT, GIRL!!! WOW … I seriously think you age backwards.” A third user added, “Beauty level over 9000.”

Since Jen shared the stunning selfie of her new ‘do on April Fools’ Day, some fans speculated she was just pulling a prank. However, the doting mom of two — who shares daughter Autumn, 5, and son Atticus, 3, with husband Brian Hallisay — proved her pink hair was permanent as she took to her Instagram Stories later in the day.

“OK, everybody, so this hair color is not a filter,” Jen said while running her fingers through her tresses. “I had some fun today with Lime Crime hair conditioner, which gives you fun color. I had no idea if it was going to work.”

“Hopefully [my hairdresser] is not going to kill me,” she hilariously continued, pointing out that she’s having a lot of “fun” while cooped up at home with her family. “It gave me hot pink highlights, which I’m kind of loving because it felt like just a silly and fun thing to do. ”

It seems the Party of Five star is really tapping into her creativity amid this quarantine considering she also gave fans a glimpse while coloring Easter eggs with her kiddos. Jen gushed over how much fun she had “making eggs and spending time together” with Autumn and Atticus on March 31.

We can’t wait to see other ways Jen stays busy amid this unprecedented pandemic!
