In a career stretching from Miss America to Ugly Betty, the multi-talented Vanessa Williams has been an icon for nearly 35 years. And she’s refreshingly honest about staying beautiful for so long. “The doctor that I go to for my Botox does it gently so I can act… and be expressive,” Vanessa, 54, has shared. And experts approve of that subtle approach.

“Vanessa has shown us how to age gracefully with expert enhancements,” said beauty advisor and skincare guru Coleen Janeway, who, like the others quoted in this article, hasn’t worked with the star. Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn called the actress a “quintessential beauty,” and is especially impressed by her skin. “It’s smooth and youthful, possibly due to a series of Fractora treatments,” he told Life & Style. The “Save the Best for Last” singer is certainly doing what she can to make sure her best years are ahead of her. “She’s really maintained her appearance,” said cosmetic surgeon Dr. Josef Hadeed. “She’s aging well. Forehead

“Her forehead and area between her brows is smooth,” said dermatologist Dr. Tabasum Mir. Vanessa has admitted to using Botox, which typically costs about $1,000 per session.

Eyelids

While Dr. Youn said, “her upper eyelids appear lifted” (a procedure that costs about $6,000), Dr. Hadeed suspected lower eyelid surgery (which runs between $4,200 and $5,600). “There’s less excess skin.”

Skin

Plastic surgeon Dr. Ryan Neinstein said Vanessa’s smooth skin suggests “she likely has had PRP injections with microneedling.” Cost: $1,000.

Lips

“Her lips are sexy, defined, youthful, and plump,” said Janeway, who thinks the star is using a filler like Juvéderm XC to achieve that look. Price tag: About $600 per syringe.
