Prince William and Kate Middleton Will Walk Their Daughter Princess Charlotte to Her First Day of School

They grow up so fast! Prince William and Kate Middleton will walk alongside their daughter, Princess Charlotte, on her first day of school.

“Princess Charlotte will be attending Thomas’s Battersea starting next Thursday, September 5th, and [her parents] will be by her side for her first day of school,” Kensington Palace told Us Weekly in a statement. “There will be unofficial school portraits from Charlotte and [her brother Prince] George’s first day.” How exciting! An insider tells the outlet that young George, 6, will also help his sister and show her around. This of course comes after news that the royal girl would be joining her sibling.

“We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea,” Simon O’Malley, the Headmaster at George’s school recently said. “We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September.” However, while little Charlotte, 4, will have George around, we should expect her to make plenty of pals like she did at her previous school, Willcocks Nursery.

She’s “very popular and is very passionate about art and music,” a royal insider exclusively told Closer Weekly at the time. “She has a strong personality and is the kind of little girl who knows what she wants and doesn’t let anything get in her way.”

The source added, “Charlotte is outgoing and oozes confidence. Standing in front of hundreds of paparazzi doesn’t faze her in the slightest. She actually enjoys being in the spotlight!” While the cute duo will be under the same roof, do not except them to learn the same material, as George has quite the tough curriculum.

George will not only learn the core subjects of science, math, history, English and geography, he will also dive into everything from computing and drama, to French and ballet!
