Princess Charlotte Is Already ‘Very Popular’ Among Her Friends at School (Exclusive)

A lot of things changed for Princess Charlotte when her family moved into Kensington Palace in mid-2017. Since making the move from their country home in Norfolk, England to the bustling streets of London, the adorable 3-year-old has been enrolled in classes at Willcocks Nursery School, a place where she’s “very popular and is very passionate about art and music,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now.

Charlotte also has a knack for making friends. “She has a strong personality and is the kind of little girl who knows what she wants and doesn’t let anything get in her way,” the source dished. But it isn’t just her friends, family and classmates that she’s comfortable around. “Charlotte is outgoing and oozes confidence,” the royal insider said. “Standing in front of hundreds of paparazzi doesn’t faze her in the slightest. She actually enjoys being in the spotlight!”

The little princess has been stealing hearts both near and far ever since she was born in May 2015. As she continues to grow up in the spotlight, her famous parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, are doing the best they can to keep their “feisty” daughter grounded and humble.

Despite being far from an ordinary kid — Charlotte was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury using water from the River Jordan, received gifts from the likes of President Barack Obama and has already traveled all over the world — Will and Kate, who are very much hands-on parents, are doing their best to make sure their children have as “normal” lives as possible.

“As far as we’re concerned, within our family unit we are a normal family,” Will, 36, once said. So, Charlotte wears Prince George’s hand-me-downs, the Cambridge kids are often taken to school by Kate herself and Charlotte and George spend time with their mom in the kitchen, where they love to “get their hands messy,” Kate has said. “Charlotte’s favorite pastime is baking cakes,” the insider added. “She has her own little apron and follows Kate around the kitchen.”

The royal toddler especially loves playing outside with her older brother, 5-year-old George. “Kate doesn’t usually allow the kids to watch TV and puts emphasis on outdoor play,” the insider noted. Naturally, she and George “bicker over toys” but when Charlotte gets too boisterous, Kate, 37, “hopes George will keep Charlotte in order.” Even Kate once admitted, “Charlotte is cute but she’s got a feisty side!”
