Well that’s just too adorable for words. Prince Harry‘s day-to-day living may be quite different from other people, but he’s just like everyone when it comes to being a dad to his and Meghan Markle‘s son, Archie.
A source tells Us Weekly that the 34-year-old has played a “huge part” in his boy’s upbringing, adding, “He’s the kind of dad who doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty.” The Duke of Sussex goes above and beyond for his first child, even when it comes to some tunes. “Harry’s tone-deaf, and he knows it,” the insider jokes. “But that doesn’t stop him from singing Archie to sleep.” Cute!
Aside from attempting to sing, the royal also changes Archie’s diapers and cleans him up. Also, if he has an early-morning engagement, he always “gets up in the night to tend to his son,” the source adds. “Meghan doesn’t even need to ask him — he just does it!”
It certainly seems like Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, 37, are doing everything they for their boy, and spending as much time with him as possible — especially since the little one is growing up so quick! “Archie can’t talk yet but he’s certainly trying to! He gurgles and coos with excitement whenever Meghan or Harry walk into the room. You can tell he already adores his parents,” a royal insider exclusively told Closer Weekly. “He’s just learned to push himself up when lying on his stomach because he wants to see what’s going on around him. Harry jokes that he’s such a nosy baby.”
Although, that is not the only thing the royal couple’s child is up to. “He’s really starting to notice his surroundings, for example his eyes follow moving objects and bright colors. His favorite toy is the mobile over the crib,” the insider revealed. “Whenever Harry or Meghan hold him he clasps his hand around their fingers and doesn’t want to let go. It’s so adorable to watch.”
This is so great to hear. We can’t wait to learn what else is going on in Archie’s life!
