“I think she looks wonderful,” Marie, 59, exclusively told Closer Weekly about Sharon’s facelift. “Whatever makes you happy.” The “Paper Roses” singer — who also works alongside Eve, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba — revealed that she didn’t see the America’s Got Talent alum “until that day.” “She kept herself veiled,” Marie said.
“It’s not anybody’s decision,” Marie continued. “People go, ‘Well I don’t see any difference’ — the thing is that’s how you know — because she’s only, what, a few weeks into it, and puff will continue to come.”
“Just the way it is right now, it’s beautiful,” Donny Osmond‘s younger sister added. “She’s happy, so good, you go for it.” Marie also pointed out another notable TV star who went under the knife: Joan Rivers.
“I knew Joan — [she] went to the far extreme and she was happy,” Marie said.
Even though Marie has only been on the CBS program for less than a month, she did reveal that she didn’t have any nerves upon meeting the mother of three. “I have great respect for Sharon. I think she is phenomenal because she’s the queen, and she’s just — I love women that are brilliant and how she has kept that brand going on and she was the first one to do reality television, and she has a way of saying things that are just beautiful,” Marie gushed, adding just how over the moon she is with her new job.
“I’ve been telling everybody I’m so happy because now I’m on the group text, so it’s like, ‘Lunch here, we will meet up here.’ It’s just so fun,” the Love and Laughter Along the Way author said.
