Kelly Ripa Shares Cute Montage for ‘Love of My Life’ Mark Consuelos on Their 24th Wedding Anniversary
In case you needed another reason to believe Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are Hollywood’s cutest couple, the beloved pair celebrated their wedding anniversary the sweetest way. The Live With Kelly And Ryan host and the Riverdale star shared the most touching tributes to honor their 24th trip around the sun together.
“Happy anniversary to the love of my life, or at least half my life @instasuelos,” Kelly, 49, gushed alongside a montage of photos of the couple through the years. “Cheers to 24 years!”
In the video, the Hope & Faith alum and Mark, 48, looked happier than ever in snapshots on vacation and all dolled up on the red carpet. The duo’s three kids, Michael, 22, Lola, 18, and Joaquin, 17, also appeared in the clip as “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison played in the background. Aww!
Mark also paid tribute to his longtime lover by uploading a cute photo of his hands intertwined with Kelly’s. “Making a life, sharing a history, holding you close for 24 years,” he marveled in the caption. “I love you, @kellyripa.”
Fans were obviously emotional over the sweet milestone as they flooded Mark and Kelly’s comments sections with celebratory messages.
“Happy anniversary you two love birds. Look at the amazing life you both have created together,” one user wrote, while another echoed, “Gorgeous couple! Beautiful memories.” A third fan chimed in, “Cheers to 24 more years!”
Ever since Kelly and Mark walked down the aisle in 1996, they’ve easily become one of Hollywood’s most iconic pairs. However, the blonde beauty isn’t ashamed to admit they’re just like other couples who argue every now and then. That’s why Kelly credits patience and the ability to remain calm as the secret to their happy marriage.
“You’re going to fight, you’re going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages are not sprints, it’s a marathon,” she explained on an episode of Live! in late January. “There’s going to be, like, mile 24, when you’re like, ‘I quit.’ But you just got to push through. Just push through.”
Because her marriage to Mark means the world to her, Kelly dished “there’s really nothing that insurmountable” that would ever make her consider leaving her hubby’s side.
“You’re going to fight. You’re going to have disagreements,” she reiterated. “You’re going to fundamentally not agree on things. And if you take a breath, you usually can’t remember what you’re fighting about.”
