The 43-year-old beauty — who shares 16-year-old Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise — hasn’t been shy in the past about what her role as a mom means to her.

“When I’m not on set, I’m being a mom. I’m doing mom stuff,” the Batman Begins actress revealed to Modern Luxury in November 2016. “When I go to an event, I leave at 10 p.m. because it’s really important to me to be a mom that is dependable.”

The source dished Suri “didn’t really question” her mom’s tough decision to end the former couple’s relationship after six years. “She trusts [Katie],” the insider explained.

Since she became a single lady again, Katie and Suri have been taking advantage of all their free time together. “Of course she misses having a partner by her side, Jamie was a lot of fun, but she and Suri are doing just fine,” a second course shared with Closer in December 2019. “Their bond is stronger than ever.”
