Julia Roberts And Her Lookalike BFF Stylist Hit The Red Carpet In Matching Outfits: ‘It Was Just Fun!’

They’re twins! Julia Roberts recently wore a matching outfit with her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, to the InStyle awards and they seriously looked like they could be sisters in the new pics. The two lovely ladies donned the same black glasses, Givenchy lavender pantsuits, and white platform shoes to the event. The only difference seemed to be their mismatched colored clutches!

When the duo was asked why they decided to dress alike at the event, Julia had the most heartwarming response. “Elizabeth is one of my closest friends and for us, it was just fun,” the 50-year-old actress told People. “[We have] a good sense of humor about it.”

She added that she’s always liked to wear men’s clothing more than putting on a ballgown. “I’ve always been very masculine in my dressing,” she revealed. “I love menswear, it’s incredible, and [Givenchy’s] Clare [Waight Keller] does incredible menswear and so I mean, I would always take a suit over a gown if I had a choice.”

At the event, Julia and Elizabeth both took home an award for being incredible leaders in the fashion community. Julia won the 2018 Style Icon award and Elizabeth took home the Stylist of the Year award. According to Page Six, Elizabeth hasn’t just worked with Julia but other stars too like Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, and Jessica Chastain.

In fact, this wasn’t the first time that Jessica and Julia have adorably dressed the same. When the Pretty Woman actress first joined Instagram this past June, she shared a photo of herself and her BFF stylist wearing matching outfits. They both sported a trendy denim skirt and a T-shirt which read, “You can’t make everyone happy. You are not an avocado.” Julia and Elizabeth are definitely friendship goals!
