How sweet! Jessica Alba celebrated her daughter Honor‘s 12 birthday in the sweetest way possible. The Sin City actress got her little girl a six-layer cake and gave her a nice shout-out on Instagram.

“Leaning into family and finding moments of joy with our baby,” Jessica, 39, wrote on Wednesday, June 17. “So proud of who she is today and I’m so blessed that her sweet soul chose me to be her mama. #familyiseverything #honorcita #proudmom.”

Alongside Jessica’s heartfelt caption was a photo of Honor and her family gathered around her cake and another of a decorated car with a “Happy Birthday” banner on it.

The Machete Kills star shares her child and her two other kids — Haven, 8, and Hayes, 2 — with her husband of 12 years, Cash Warren. “I try to be completely present with them. I want to make the time I spend with them quality,” she previously told Us Weekly about being a mother. However, Jessica also knows that parenting isn’t easy. In fact, The Honest Company founder said she makes “mistakes” all the time, but she always tries to “learn from them.”

“At the end of the day, if you’re doing your best, that’s all you can really do,” the doting mom explained.

At home, Jessica has been having a lot of fun with her kids. Occasionally, she would post a cute video on Instagram of her dancing with her daughters. “Just over here doing @TikTok while staying inside,” she captioned one post of her busting a move with Haven. “Havie was creative director on this one.”

However, Jessica and her husband still make sure to have their alone time. On May 6, she shared an Instagram photo of her and Cash wearing matching hoodies and another of their liquor cabinet. “#homelife #tequilatime #momanddad #stayhomestaysafe,” she captioned the post. But staying inside during the coronavirus outbreak has affected the actress.

I can’t escape them,” she jokingly told Entertainment Tonight about getting away from her kids. “They find me in bathrooms, in bathtubs, in corners … I can’t hide from them.” Even though Jessica would love to have some more time for herself, she did throw Honor the best birthday party ever!
