Jennifer Garner Hilariously Attempts Tongue Twister After Getting Novocaine at the Dentist
It’s the effort that counts! Jennifer Garner recently underwent a procedure at the dentist and decided to have a little fun after heading out by attempting to recite a classic tongue twister.
The 47-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, September 19, to share a video of herself trying to speak after getting some Novocaine. “It’s just a small procedure, he said. Not even a cavity, he said,” the actress captioned the hilarious clip featuring her struggling to get through the phrase. Of course Jennifer couldn’t help but laugh as she hears herself speaking.
Fans were loving the post, as they took to the comments section to respond. “You are so adorable. Not many people put themselves out there like you do. Much respect. Have a great rest of day. When you’re less numb!” one person said. Another added, “You are hilarious. So down to earth.”
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to see the 13 Going on 30 star opening up to her followers — she has had no problem at all poking fun at herself throughout the years, and it’s always good for a laugh. We can’t forget the time the Alias alum went through her junk drawer for all to see. “Why? Why do I have it? I don’t know,” she said, while going through her stuff, which included a rain bonnet.
The mother-of-three is quite the laugh riot — she even had plenty of jokes when she was asked to give a speech at the 2019 graduation ceremony of her alma mater, Denison University. “When it comes to Halloween costumes, go funny over sexy! Why would you dress like a flirty nurse when you could be a mailbox?” Jennifer told the grads. She was not done giving advice to the young students though.
“Nothing looks better in your 50s than sunscreen in your 20s,” the A-lister told the crowd who was eagerly listening. “Don’t walk down the Grand Canyon just to see what it looks like from the bottom up. Don’t smoke and don’t vape. I’m sorry, [but] somebody has to say it!”
