While she has been married to Will Smith since 1997, Jada Pinkett Smith reveals that there has been some infidelity in her past relationships.

In a sneak peek clip of an upcoming episode of the popular Facebook series Red Table Talk, the actress, 47, reveals that not only has she been cheated on in the past, she has also been unfaithful. “I had a really interesting experience when I was younger,” the Girls Trip star tells her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and daughter, Willow Smith, in the clip.

“I had two relationships before Will that were kind of serious to me … I got cheated on, which really broke my heart, and then I cheated on somebody that I really cared about,” she continues.

“And I have to tell you, me cheating on someone was more devastating than me being cheated on,” Jada reveals. “It actually taught me to forgive when I got cheated on because I understood. And what I understood most was that it didn’t have anything to do with me.”

Jada and the I Am Legend actor, 50, will celebrate 22 years of marriage at the end of the year. They also share two kids together — Jaden, 20, and Willow, 18. Will has another son, Trey, 26, from a previous marriage to Sheree Zampino.

While they have been together quite some time now, Jada once revealed that her own mother questioned her marriage to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum, after learning her daughter called themselves “life partners” instead of husband and wife. “She was like, ‘Well, why don’t you guys just divorce?’” Jada explained, although she couldn’t even fathom the idea of separating from her man.

“One of the ideas for me is that we’ve built such a beautiful community, we’ve built such a beautiful family … we do well together. Breaking that group and community up for me? It’s just never an option.” However, even if divorce was on the table, the Gotham costar wouldn’t be able to go through with it.

“For me, personally, I’m not mature enough to have a divorce,” Jada said in another episode of her series. “I’m just not. I don’t think I would ever be mature enough. When you have to start going in, breaking up assets … that’s when the red table turns upside down, and it won’t be red no more!”
