While the world continues to wait for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s baby to arrive, some bookmakers are certain that the duchess has already given birth.

“We’ve suspended betting on which day Harry and Meghan’s baby will arrive following a huge increase in wagers this evening, which indicate to us that someone knows something — and perhaps the child is already born,” a company spokesman for bookmaker Paddy Power told The Sun.

“That, combined with the rumors and speculation, has us convinced that the royal arrival has already happened, and if the betting is anything to go by, it’s almost certainly a baby girl,” the representative added.

This comes just one day after a representative for Buckingham Palace told CBS News that the couple’s first child “hasn’t been born yet.”

Speculation that the royal pair has already welcomed their baby may be swirling due to the fact that the former actress, 37, and her husband, 34, recently revealed that they will be keeping the birth of their child out of the news for now. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” Buckingham Palace wrote in a statement on April 11.

“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private,” the statement continued. “The duke and duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s mom, Doria Ragland, has also been in London for quite some time now, as she continues to wait for her daughter to give birth. The 62-year-old should expect to be with the little one a lot of the time too. “Doria’s going to be her child’s nanny,” a palace insider exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “The royals were insistent that she hire someone with international credentials and highly trained in security and self-defense [like Maria Borrallo], but Meghan was having none of it.”

While we have yet to receive any confirmation from the palace of the baby’s arrival, the Duke of Sussex did recently cancel his trip to Amsterdam that was scheduled for next week in what looks like a sign that the soon-to-be dad is preparing himself!

We shall see what happens when we finally meet the baby!
