The first rule of the internet is to never read the comments, but Deborra-Lee Furness takes it one step further. In a recent interview, Hugh Jackman‘s wife revealed that she never Googles herself — and the reason why is pretty solid.

“Never. Because you know what? It’s nothing to do with me,” the 63-year-old responded, according to the Daily Mail, when asked about whether or not she reads up on what people may be saying about her online.

“If someone sitting in Des Moines, [Iowa] is going to say something mean about someone they don’t even know, it’s their problem,” Deborra-Lee added, totally shutting down whatever negativity might be coming from trolls.

This has likely been Deborra-Lee’s mantra throughout the decades she and Hugh, 50, have been married, but especially since her hubby has been an A-list star after becoming Wolverine and snagging an Oscar nomination. A lot has changed since the two met on the set of the Australian TV show Correlli back in 1995 — one year before the couple tied the knot.

But it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows for Deborra-Lee and Hugh, who have two children they have adopted. Hugh once revealed that Deborra-Lee actually tried to break up with him early on in their relationship even though he and his lady love “clicked right away.” The secret to their longtime romance? Simply finding the right person.

“Life actually happens in between that. Life happens when the camera is not going,” Hugh gushed about Deborra-Lee last year. “You believed in me when I couldn’t. You’ve loved me with a passion and a depth that I didn’t even know existed — and I don’t think I felt that I deserved. You have pushed and encouraged me when I was scared to venture out. You have smiled me into smiling. You have sung me into singing. You have loved me into loving and like everything I do in my life, I share this with you. I love you.”

With things like that being said about you, who cares what a stranger might be writing online.
