Beverley Mitchell Throws Tea Party-Themed Birthday Bash in Honor of Daughter Kenzie Turning 6 (Exclusive)

Beverley, Michael, Hutton and birthday girl Kenzie were all smiles while celebrating the sweet youngster’s birthday. This isn’t the first time Kenzie or Hutton have been thrown a huge party — for her 4th birthday, Kenzie celebrated her mermaid-themed bash at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium!

The birthday girl was accompanied by her parents and brother as well as other friends and family. In order to keep the kiddos excited and busy, Beverley set up a nail painting station for Kenzie’s friends to get their nails colored. Beverley even dished that the manicure station was a huge hit! “Even my son got a manicure — he got monsters on his fingers,” she shared with Closer. “And then watching them paint all the little tea sets. To be honest, just watching the kids just be kids is always fun.”

Kenzie sure must love painting considering there was also an arts and crafts section at her extravaganza! If you were wondering why it’s so over the top, well, Beverly revealed that throwing birthday parties for her kids is something she looks forward to every year. “I love spoiling all their little friends at their birthday parties. I like it’s really fun and it’s a great opportunity to get together and just say thank you for all these little friends who are so supportive of Kenzie so that’s what’s really cool,” she gushed.

A few months ago, Beverley imagined celebrating this birthday with a much bigger brood. However, that reality changed when she revealed she suffered a miscarriage of twins this past November. The Hollywood Darlings actress revealed the heartbreaking news in a post on her blog, Growing Up Hollywood.

Although the news of her miscarriage caused her and Michael’s “new dream of our growing family” to come “crashing down,” Beverley forced herself to look on the bright side. “Now more than ever, I look at Kenzie, Hutton and Michael and just feel full,” she wrote in the blog post at the time. “If we are blessed with more children they will fill us with more love, but for now, I look at my family and I am GRATEFUL, BLESSED and THANKFUL.” We love Beverly!
