Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Go Christmas Tree Shopping With Their 3 Kids in Brentwood

Now that Thanksgiving’s done, it means Christmas is almost here — which is good because Ben Affleck and his family are in the holiday spirit! He went out shopping for a Christmas tree on Sunday, December 1, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their 3 kids — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7 — in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The family of five looked at a couple of options before deciding on the right one that would brighten up their home. Since Ben is now dating musician Katie Cherry, it’s possible that he’ll split his time between Jen’s place with the kids and his new girlfriend this holiday season.

“They’re very into each other,” a source recently told Us Weekly about the couple. Apparently, Ben and Katie met on a dating app “a few months ago” and they have been together ever since. She was even there when the Batman actor had “a slip” in his sobriety at a Halloween party in West Hollywood on Saturday, October 26.

“Well, you know, it happens. It’s a slip, but I’m not going to let it derail me,” Ben admitted the morning after he struggled with his sobriety. He was also open about his dating life when he took to Instagram to inform the public that he was indeed back on the dating scene.

“HA, you got me. I’m dating,” he wrote on October 26. “But let’s be serious for a moment and talk about something that is actually important. I have been in recovery for over a year and part of that is helping out others. @themidnightmission is an incredible organization that helps those in need with housing, training, development and recovery.”

With so many amazing people in his life, Ben is sure to have a joyful Christmas this year. He already said he has a great coparenting relationship with Jen, so what more could he ask for?!

“Jen is a superhero mom,” the Justice League star previously told E! News. “She is an amazing mother and I’m really lucky to have her as a partner to coparent these kids with. We try our best, we put them first and that’s what we do.”
