In the wake of announcing his divorce from Jennifer Garner after 10 years of marriage, Ben Affleck finally has something to smile about!
The 43-year-old actor will star in and direct a new stand-alone Batman movie following his foray into the superhero role in this year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara confirmed on Tuesday, April 12.

"[Dawn of Justice] set up a great foundation for our DC Entertainment slate, which includes at least 10 movies through 2020," Tsuijhara said at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm also excited to know that we will be working with Ben Affleck on a stand-alone Batman movie."
