Jennifer Garner‘s Los Angeles home screams pure elegance. The beloved 13 Going On 30 actress lives in a gorgeous home in the Brentwood Park neighborhood with her three kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, whom shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The actress bought the property for $7.9 million and built her new house from scratch following her divorce from the Argo actor. It features high, wood-beamed ceilings, plenty of light thanks to windowed walls, wood flooring and a spacious bathroom.
The Once Upon a Farm entrepreneur grows much of her own food thanks to her huge backyard vegetable garden. She also has fruit trees where Jen has literally picked apples, then gone inside her kitchen to chop them up and turn them into delicious muffins. She even has blueberry plants growing right outside her back door where she’s able to sit and munch on the healthy treats in solitude.
Jennifer keeps fit thanks to her incredible home gym, which features padded box jumps where she’s able to show off her athletic prowess. She also has mini-trampolines and other cardio-friendly workout devices including a treadmill.
The Peppermint star and her kids had previously lived in a luxurious three-story rental property in Pacific Palisades which spanned over 10,500-square-feet and sat on one-third of an acre in one of the most prestigious parts of L.A. The incredible house, which was built in 2009, was tucked away behind a large hedge and offered perfect privacy.
Aside from the star’s endless luxury amenities, Jennifer’s former abode was perfect for her kids as Violet, Seraphina and Samuel kept themselves occupied with their gaming room, a swimming pool, a spa and an indoor home theater.
Because the Peppermint actress was spending more time than ever at home amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, she was doing everything she could to stay busy. Fortunately for Jen, she came up with fun ways to keep her kiddos occupied.
“She doesn’t want the children being glued to their iPads or playing computer games all day. So to keep them busy, they’ll bake and decorate cakes together,” an insider explained to Closer Weekly in March 2020. “The kitchen is a complete mess afterward, but she doesn’t care.”
The source said the SAG Award winner’s eldest daughter especially enjoyed testing her talents as a chef. “Violet takes after her mom and is a great cook, so she helps Jen make dinner.”
With a kitchen like Jen’s, we wouldn’t mind cooking either!
