Happy 4th birthday, Princess Charlotte! It’s a special day for the royal family as they are celebrating the milestone birthday of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s adorable daughter.

It looks like Charlotte — whose birthday is Thursday, May 2 — already received some sweet gifts, including one from older brother Prince George! “George made Charlotte a birthday card at school and signed it himself, with the help of his teachers!” a source exclusively told Closer Weekly. “He’s such a thoughtful little boy and spent hours trying to choose a gift for his little sister and couldn’t decide between a book and a huge stuffed bear so Kate ended up buying both!” So cute of him!

She’s the Queen’s ‘Mini-Me’

Will Charlotte follow in Queen Elizabeth‘s footsteps?! “The queen has already picked up on signs that Charlotte is her mini-me,” an insider revealed to Closer Weekly. “She’s confident that her great-granddaughter will grow up to be a great leader and role model.” Plus, a separate insider revealed to Closer that “although she’d never admit it, the Queen secretly favorites Charlotte because they share so many interests!” Aww!

Charlotte Is a Go-Getter

She may be a hit at school, but Charlotte is just as much as a go-getter at her royal home. “She has a strong personality and is the kind of little girl who knows what she wants and doesn’t let anything get in her way,” a source told Closer Weekly. “Charlotte is outgoing and oozes confidence,” the royal insider added. “Standing in front of hundreds of paparazzi doesn’t faze her in the slightest. Charlotte actually enjoys being in the spotlight!”

Charlotte Loves Dancing

William has dished that the Charlotte loves to show off her moves! “My daughter Charlotte loves dancing,” the future monarch gushed at the royal family’s 2018 Commonwealth Day. “She’s going to be trouble when she gets older,” William was heard saying. “All fathers say that to me — watch out for the little girls.” So cute!

Charlotte’s Nickname Is ‘Lottie’

We’ve heard Kate call Charlotte by the adorable moniker ‘Lottie,’ before, but a source close to the royal family recently revealed the reason behind the nickname! “When George was younger he couldn’t pronounce ‘Charlotte’ so the family started using the nickname ‘Lottie’ and it stuck,” the royal insider dished to Closer Weekly. “They think it’s a cuter name for a 4-year-old!” We agree!

Charlotte Loves the Outdoors

Charlotte loves playing outdoors with her brother George! During a visit to King Henry’s Walk Garden in London, Kate told attendees that her royal kiddos would’ve loved to join her at the special event. “They’re in school. They’re in a classroom,” the duchess said of her kids. “That’s where George and Charlotte would love to be is learning outside of the classroom. Not inside. It’s still fun inside, but it’s much better outside.” Aw!

Charlotte Loves Pizza

Not only does she love to get her hands dirty outside, but Charlotte also likes to get them dirty in the kitchen! While helping out at London’s St Luke’s Community Centre, Kate dished that her kiddos love making pizza dough. “I’ve done that with George and Charlotte – making pizza dough,” she told guests. “I was just saying how I really enjoy making pizza dough with George and Charlotte because they like getting their hands messy.”
