Megyn has been using everything that she’s learned at NBC to prepare for her next job. “Anytime you have a passionate, driven soul like her, there may be times within the context they say or do something that offends people without them even realizing it,” a source recently told Us Weekly. “Megyn is the first to stop and turn around and apologize.”

The source added that the most important thing to Megyn is “being true to herself” no matter what. “Megyn is bent on learning from the NBC situation, ready to fight another day in applying her talents, enduring values and experiences to make real progress in this polarized world,” the insider shared.

Getting let go from NBC hasn’t deterred Megyn from getting involved in the 2020 presidential election either. The insider noted that Megyn is actually more serious than ever about politics. “Megyn wants the glory she had when she was at the top of her game at Fox,” the source said.

After leaving Today, Megyn’s colleague Kathie Lee Gifford announced her exit from the famed talk show on Tuesday, December 11, because she wants to pursue different work opportunities. “I’m thrilled about the projects coming up,” she admitted while fighting back tears on Today. “But it’s also hard is because the reason I stayed longer than a year is because I love everybody here.”

They might not work in the same building anymore but Megyn and Kathie Lee, 65, are still good friends. The two recently reunited on Sunday, February 3 at the Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala in Scottsdale, Arizona and posed for cute pics together on the red carpet.
