Meghan Markle Apparently Gets Fashion Advice From Royal Sister-in-Law Kate Middleton

Perhaps this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship? While rumors of a feud continue to hang above the royal family, it seems like things may not be so bad as Meghan Markle apparently gets fashion advice from her regal sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

“Meghan has certainly turned to Kate for guidance and inspiration,” a source recently told Elle magazine. Both women have turned heads lately, especially while on their latest royal tours. The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, received a lot of compliments for the beautiful Mulberry coat she was spotted wearing in Northern Ireland, while the former actress, also 37, similarly made headlines while wearing a gorgeous cape dress while at a fancy dinner in Morocco.

But according to the outlet, when it comes down to it, the Duchess of Sussex is her own stylist, and it has clearly been paying off as the pregnant Suits alum typically gets nothing but positive comments when the attention turns to her fashion. And while the pair may be sharing style tips, we recently learned that Prince Willam‘s wife may not feel she’s as big of a show-stopper as Meghan.

“I imagine that a big part of the alleged tension between Meghan and Kate is an edge of competition between the royal brothers and their wives and that Kate and William might feel a little less glamorous than [Prince] Harry and Meghan,” relationship expert Kate Mansfield told the UK’s The Express newspaper. And yet, perhaps the mother-of-three can take joy in the fact that the pregnant royal seems to be inspired by her fashion. In fact, the latter has been spotted in outfits straight out of her sister-in-law’s stylebook — like the time she stepped out in a recycled outfit.

Meghan was spotted wearing a pretty, green printed dress by Self Portrait with a black Alexander McQueen blazer last year, the latter of which she had worn just a few months earlier. During her third pregnancy, Kate recycled seven outfits, because sometimes you just have to repeat a favorite look!
