Exciting! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just welcomed their first child into the world, but they are already thinking about giving baby Archie a sibling.

“Harry and Meghan are telling friends that the baby is the best thing that’s ever happened to them. It’s a fairytale come true and they can’t take their eyes off Archie,” a royal source exclusively tells Closer Weekly. “After nine months of waiting, they burst into tears of joy when the baby was born. They’re overwhelmed with happiness and are already talking about having a second child!”

“Meghan and Harry would love to have at least one more. Ideally a little girl and a sister for Archie to play with,” the insider adds.

The royal pair announced the birth of their child on Monday, May 4 — many lovely responses soon followed. “It’s really exciting for both of them,” Kate Middleton told Daily Express reporter alongside her husband Prince William following the launch of The King’s Cup Regatta. “These next few weeks, it’s always very daunting first time around so wish them all the best.”

The Duke of Cambridge, 37, added, “It is parenting, so it’ll be fun to see that. I wish him all the best. I hope in the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a new boy in the family and all the, sort of, joys that come with that.”

Harry’s dad, Prince Charles, also had some kind words for the pair. “We couldn’t be more delighted at the news,” he gushed while alongside Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. “And we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return.”

We are sure Meghan, who is still recovering, will enjoy every minute with her new baby boy, but we also know that Archie may not be an only child for long.
