After Meghan Markle gave birth to a baby boy with Prince Harry on Monday, May 6, they received so many blessings from their celebrity friends. Harry’s father, Prince Charles, especially showed how much he adores his new grandson when he and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, headed to Germany for a three-day royal tour.

As soon as they touched down in Berlin, Charles began talking about Harry and Meghan’s new baby like there was no tomorrow! “We couldn’t be more delighted at the news,” he gushed. “And we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return.”

Not only that, but Meghan’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, also sent Meghan and her hubby well wishes in regards to their new baby. “I’m delighted to hear that mother and child are doing well,” he said in a statement to The Sun. “I am proud that my new grandson is born into the British royal family and I am sure that he will grow up to serve the crown and the people of Britain with grace, dignity and honor.”

“God bless the child and I wish him health and happiness, and my congratulations to my lovely daughter Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry, and God save the Queen [Elizabeth],” he continued. How sweet! Hopefully Thomas’ statement will help him have a better relationship with his daughter in the future.

Meghan’s friend and former costar on Suits, Patrick J. Adams, also congratulated the royal couple on the great news and took to Twitter to remind Meghan that their kids should have a playdate sometime soon. “Just heard that the world just got heavier by 7 pounds and 3 ounces,” he joked. “Much love to him and his incredible parents. Learned first hand seven months ago how transformational becoming a parent is and couldn’t be happier for Meghan and Harry as they begin this adventure. #playdatesoon.”

Just in case if we haven’t said it already: Congratulations, Harry and Meghan!
