Kelly Ripa Claps Back at Troll Over Her Christmas Outfit: ‘Do You Approve?’
She is of course quite the nice person, but don’t troll Kelly Ripa because she will clap right back — and that’s exactly what she did recently.
It all kicked off when the TV personality, 49, took to Instagram on Thursday, December 26, to share a photo of herself in a Christmas outfit. “Not big on fashion selfies, but I’ve lived in this house for 11 years and JUST discovered a full length mirror behind the bedroom door. Plus i like this outfit,” Kelly wrote alongside the snap.
While plenty of people chimed in with positive comments, one user named Sandy decided to critique the All My Children‘s alum choice of outfit. “Purple and red? Not my taste … to each their own,” they said. Kelly did not stay quiet though.
“The top is gray, Sandy. Now do you approve?” the Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost responded. People were loving the comeback, as they replied with approval.
“I really really hope Sandy is happy,” one person joked. Another added, “I think it looks beautiful and I don’t understand why people feel the need to comment how they don’t like something. Keep scrolling Sandy nobody asked you!”
This is not the first time that Kelly has snapped back at some trolls. Earlier this year, she was quick to defend her husband, Mark Consuelos, after one commenter said, “He spends a hell of a lot of his time working out — should spend it with his wife and kids.”
“He’s on vacation WITH us,” Kelly responded “He’s a multitasker.” The happy couple have been married since 1996, and they share three kids — Michael 22, Lola, 18, and Joaquin, 16. The duo have also never been shy about their love for one another.
“I’m crazy about my wife,” the Riverdale actor, 48, once gushed to Fox News. “It’s nice to be married to your best friend. … She’s also really patient and really tolerant. I think that’s a big key to the success of our long [marriage]. We’ve been married forever!”
Well one thing is fore sure: Kelly will always defend herself and the ones she love!
