Aside from her lovable personality and heartwarming demeanor, Kelly Ripa has become one of Hollywood’s favorite stars thanks to her incredible fashion. Ever since she got her first big role on All My Children, Kelly has been known to wear bold and bright ensembles, whether she’s walking down the street or walking a prestigious red carpet.
After starring as Hayley Vaughan on the hit soap opera for more than a decade, the beloved TV star turned to hosting daytime talk shows. In 2001, Kelly quickly became a household name after she joined Regis Philbin on Live With Regis and Kelly. But after Regis retired in 2011, Kelly cohosted the show with football star Michael Strahan before Ryan Seacrest took his place. Now, Live With Regis and Kelly has turned into Live With Kelly and Ryan.
Although a lot has changed since the former pageant queen first broke out in the spotlight in the late 1980s, one thing that has stayed the same is her fresh and stunning sense of style. Despite usually spotting her in a lavish outfit or red carpet gown, Kelly dished she loves nothing more than to relax in a comfortable caftan.
“All of my kids, all of my nieces and nephews, my really good friends, all call me Ms. Roper because I wear caftans all the time,” she told Ryan during a May episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan.
The radio personality jokingly agreed. He added, “You deserve credit for this trend because I remember the first weeks of quarantine, you were captaining it every day. So let’s give you credit on your own show.”
Fans have loved that Kelly — who shares kids Michael, Lola and Joaquin with husband Mark Consuelos — hasn’t been afraid to experiment with her looks either. Whether she used the tie of a bathrobe to style her hair or rocked an edgier look, the blonde beauty has definitely become a staple for Hollywood fashion.
