Doting mom Kelly Clarkson is cherishing all the time she has with husband Brandon Blackstock and their kids as they isolate themselves at their Montana home amid the coronavirus outbreak. A source exclusively tells Closer Weekly that a break from the American Idol alum’s hectic Hollywood schedule made her realize “this is exactly what her marriage” needs.

“Kelly [is] by far one of the busiest women in Hollywood. So this mandatory shutdown has forced her to re-evaluate her schedule and figure out a better way to spend quality time with her family, especially her husband, from now on,” the insider explains.

On top of being the proud mom of daughter River Rose, 5, and son Remington, 3, as well as the loving stepmom of Brandon’s older children, Savannah and Seth, the 37-year-old beauty has a ton on her plate when it comes to her profession.

“With her juggling the kids, her talk show [The Kelly Clarkson Show], The Voice, music and other projects … the bonding time she’s getting with Brandon is just what the doctor ordered,” the source continues.

Although “Kelly’s not calling it an upside to the coronavirus” because “she’s taking that very seriously,” the source goes on, she’s doing her best to look on the bright side. “If there is a silver lining, hunkering down with your loved ones is it,” the insider adds.

Brandon, 43, and the “Because of U” songstress — who exchanged vows in 2013 — “love taking long hikes around the countryside in Montana,” the source says of how the famous family is keeping busy. “Watching a 90’s romantic comedy or an action film [while] eating ice cream with Kelly usually falling asleep on Brandon is still a favorite pastime for her.”

Considering Kelly and Brandon’s children are still young, the source dishes how they keep River and Remington entertained. “They also love playing cards as a family .. Uno is a favorite,” the insider noted. “They have board games in the cabin and they love playing Heads Up with the older kids. It’s all about being together, not thinking of stressing about work, that connection makes them stronger together.”

The source also mentions while “they love being with the kids,” Kelly and Brandon especially “value any alone time as a couple.” Aww!

We’re sending our best wishes to Kelly, Brandon and their kids as they stay safe amid coronavirus!
