Heidi Klum Admits She Still Believes In Love Even Though She’s Been Divorced Twice
If you ask Heidi Klum if she still believes in love, then chances are, she’ll tell you yes! Though her first marriage failed to Zoolander actor Ric Pipino and her second to British singer Seal, Heidi is still optimistic that she has found the love of her life in her now fiancé, Tom Kaulitz.
“I’ve been married twice. I still believe in love and marriage, I do. Even though I failed twice at it. I guess I’m not very good at it,” Heidi, 45, said during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which was taped before Tom’s proposal. She added that she’s very excited to see where her relationship goes with Tom. “I found a great person, so let’s see what happens.”
Shortly after Heidi tapped the segment on Ellen, Tom, 29, proposed to the former Project Runway judge and Heidi shared the incredible news via Instagram on Christmas Eve. “I SAID YES,” she captioned a photo of her sparkly new engagement ring against Tom’s face online.
Even though Heidi previously shared to InStyle, that it was hard to date Tom because he’s 17 years her junior, she admitted that his age is the least of her concerns. “My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it,” she explained. “That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it. I don’t really think about it that much otherwise.”
Heidi added, “You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles.” It’s a good thing that Heidi followed her heart and hasn’t worried about Tom’s age, because if she did, then she would have let her haters dictate the rest of her life decisions. And no one wants that!
