Eva Longoria Is Shredding Into 2020 With Inspiring Workout Video: ‘Aaaand We’re Back!’
Still killing it! Eva Longoria continues to impress her fans and followers, as she once again reminded everyone just how hard she’s been working to get ripped.
The 44-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, January 17, to share a behind-the-scenes look at her first big-time workout of the new year, in a clip that includes the star during a full-body routine. “Aaaand we’re back!” the Desperate Housewives alum wrote, as she also added “#2020” and gave a shoutout to her personal trainer Grant Roberts. People were loving the post, as they took to the comments section to respond with nothing but positive words.
“Good job — way to get after it. Looking good,” one person said. “You’ve always been amazing,” another added. The actress has been focusing on getting her body back ever since the birth of her son Santiago, 1. Eva shares her little one with her husband, José Bastón.
While she’s been hitting the gym hard, Eva has been encouraged to do so by another notable star: Jennifer Lopez. “Eva has been inspired by the likes of J.Lo and other fit celebs in their 40s, and she’s got the fitness bug big time. But she wants to take this a step further and is going all-out to bulk up and achieve a body that’s both shredded and jacked at the same time,” an insider once exclusively told Closer Weekly. “She’s drawn up a whole new diet consisting of tons of protein and healthy energy snacks that fire her up for hardcore gym workouts — two hours a day at a minimum. She’s lifting kettlebells and free weights at home, too, that’s how dedicated she is to pulling this off.”
The Dora and the Lost City of Gold costar has also found a way to balance her Hollywood life with her family. “I do think there has to be a normalization within Hollywood to make sure that motherhood is accepted in a wider way,” Eva told Parents magazine in an interview. “Many times, [after becoming a mom] you no longer get the sexy roles, or you have to take time off until you’re looking a certain way.”
She added, “I will pass on a project if I can’t give it my all. Now I have to be more in charge and more structured and on time. The stakes are higher now that I have a child. I need to make sure I’m doing my part to leave the world a better place —for him and for all the children of our future.”
Eva is such an inspiration!
