Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Are Reportedly Trying to ‘Keep the Family Together’ While Working in Hollywood

When folks think of the hardest working and strongest couple in Hollywood, many fingers point to Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, and it seems like the pair is doing all they can to keep their family together while balancing their very successul careers.

“They don’t want to end up like one of those Hollywood couples who never see each other and drift apart, so they’ve made a pledge to make their careers a family travel package,” an insider told Life & Style. “They realize what they have is precious and don’t ever want to take it for granted so they’re determined to keep the family together from now on.”

The source continued, “It got really stressful when Emily was in London working on Mary Poppins Returns and juggling motherhood, even though John visited every weekend from the Jack Ryan set in Montreal.” They added, “Emily’s going to be more selective in the films she chooses.”

The duo, married since 2010, have quite the family, as they share two daughters — Hazel, 5, and Violet, 2. In fact, they are so strong as a couple that they both starred in last year’s huge hit A Quiet Place, although many people told them the marriage wouldn’t survive filming a movie together.

“My favorite thing about shooting A Quiet Place for sure was working with John,” the actress, 35, told reporters in the 2019 SAG Awards press room after she won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role honor for the film on January 27. “We had never [worked together] before and it is kind of the great unknown. You go into this process not knowing what it’s going to be like. A lot of people were like ‘You’re going to be divorced by the end of it,’ but we were so much closer. I think the discovery of how we collaborated and could create something together was just so special.”

The Office alum also had nothing but kind words to say about his wife after winning his own award for
the thriller at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Jan. 13. “I got to make a movie about a love story, and a love letter to my kids and I got to do it with the love of my life by my side,” the actor, 39, said during his acceptance speech. “So, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get much better than that!”

Well, by the looks of it it certainly seems like the pair is doing a great job in keeping their family together through all their success!
