It seems like Ellen DeGeneres and Brad Pitt have a little more in common than just being two of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities! During the Once Upon a Time In Hollywood actor’s recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the beloved TV host revealed she once dated one of his ex-girlfriends!

“Do you remember where we met?” Ellen, 55, asked Brad as he stopped by the studio on Thursday, September 12. “I remember Melissa Etheridge‘s pool party, where I think you were hitting on my girlfriend,” he then dished. A bit stunned, wide-eyed Ellen looked at Brad, 55, and asked, “Was I hitting on your girlfriend? Really?” to which he replied, “I think so. I was flattered,” he quipped.

It wasn’t until then that the Finding Dory star filled the Troy actor in on her previous dating history. “I actually have since then dated another one of your girlfriends,” she hilariously revealed as the audience erupted in laughter. “We’ll talk about that later,” she said as Brad agreed, “After the show.” Sadly, the two stars didn’t mention any names!

As fans know, Ellen tied the knot with wife Portia de Rossi in 2008 and have been living a life of wedded bliss ever since. As for Brad, the sexy heartthrob was previously married to ex-wife Angelina Jolie, whom he wed in 2014 but sadly divorced in 2016. The couple share their six kids, Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Following her confession, the famous comedian congratulated Brad on the incredible success of his recent film. “I loved that movie, I loved that movie,” she gushed of Once Upon a Time In Hollywood as the crowd cheered along. Although the Academy Award-winning hunk is set to star in his upcoming film Ad Astra, which is hitting theaters on September 20, he recently shared that he’s slowly going to start retreating from the spotlight.

“It’ll be fewer and farther in-between [films] for me, just because I have other things I want to do now,” the Inglorious Bastards actor told The New York Times in a recent interview. “When you feel like you’ve finally got your arms around something, then it’s time to go get your arms around something else.”

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Brad has considering taking a step back from showbiz. “I don’t know. I enjoy doing other things,” he previously told People. “I think that one day I’ll just wake up and organically it’ll be done. Maybe I won’t wake up and that’s why it’ll be done.”

Maybe Brad’s good pal Ellen can convince him to stick around!
