So exciting! Donny Osmond may have announced that he and his sister, Marie Osmond, are ending their Las Vegas residency, but that doesn’t mean he is slowing down, as he is already writing songs for his next album.

The 61-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, May 16, to inform his fans that album number 62 is in the works. “Wrote another song yesterday. This time, @dennywhite came in from #LA to help out. Bit by bit,” the performer captioned two photos showing he and his pal hard at work. “Song by song. Album 62 is taking shape.”

Fans were loving the news, as they took to the comments section to react. “I am looking forward to hearing your written work. You are a talented writer! Your past written songs have been terrific and are my favorites! Hurry!!” one person said. Another added, “Good for you Donny. What ever you do you are awesome in what you do. The fans love you as much today as they did back in the 70s.”

The Masked Singer alum revealed he was working on another album back in January. “I’m excited to let you in on a little secret. I’ve officially started working on my 62nd album!” he wrote in the caption. “I’ll keep you posted throughout the year as I continue creating it, but I have a feeling you’re going to love it.”

It is an exciting time in The Osmond family — we recently learned that Marie, 59, will be joining The Talk in September. “It is such a joy for me to be joining [the show]. After guest cohosting and appearing as a guest on the show throughout the years, I am thrilled to now call this my day job,” she gushed in the press release.

“I look forward to working with Sharon [Osbourne], Sheryl [Underwood], Eve and Carrie Ann [Inaba], who are such smart, strong, talented women whom I immensely respect. I cannot wait to share this exciting new chapter with the viewers and the CBS family,” she added.

The Osmonds continue to do it all!
