“Honestly, I have so many great women in my house — our daughters and all that — I don’t have much to say. Just tell me what to wear,” the former ballplayer, 43, said on Today when host Willie Geist asked him if he was “in there planning details with Jennifer.” Alex also opened up about what it is like being part of a blended family.
“It takes a lot of work, and it is the most important thing in both of our lives,” the ESPN analyst said, adding that he and his fiancée are “actually making plans to spend a lot, lot more time with” their kids. Alex has two daughters — Natasha, 14 and Ella, 11, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, while the singer, 49, shares twins Maximilian and Emme, both 11, with Marc Anthony.
The Hollywood couple announced their engagement on March 9, as they both shared photos of the moment, including the giant ring that graced the performers finger. Jennifer recently revealed why exactly she is so grateful for the man in her life.
“We just get along,” the World of Dance judged gushed during an appearance on the May 6 episode of Today. “We just complement each other. He’s super supportive. He allows me to be who I am, and I want him to shine in the greatest way possible and be his best self. We just help each other be better people in a way.” And even after not finding success in previous relationships, Jennifer did not close the book on love.
“I always planned to get married again,” the Second Act actress admitted. “I want to spend my life with somebody. I want to grow old with somebody. I think that’s the goal, right? To find a partner to kind of walk through this crazy thing with.”
We are so glad these two found each other and we can not wait to see their wedding!
