Kate Middleton is packing her bags for India!
In less than two weeks, the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William, will travel to the South Asian country for the first time — and we can hardly wait to see Kate's style choices throughout the trip!

During her royal visit, we're expecting the princess to don gorgeous ball gowns at the galas she's scheduled to attend, as well as flashy hats, patterned outfits and stunning broaches. The adventurous mom-of-two is also likely to sport stunning fabrics and bold colors — prominent characteristics of Indian fashion — and we won't be surprised if she throws in a recycled outfit or two, too!
We're also anticipating Kate, 34, may dress just like her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, when she follows in her footsteps with a visit to the Taj Mahal during her day-trip to the national monument on Saturday, April 16.

During her time in the Himalayan Kingdom Bhutan, Kate will surely abide by the nation's cultural dress code by donning a new ensemble she's never worn before! In the small country, women tend to wear a kira, which is a pretty, patterned bed sheet-sized piece of fabric that is wrapped into a dress or skirt. It's usually paired with a long-sleeved blouse called a wonju and a jacket called a tego.
"[Kate and William] are very much looking forward to their tours of India and Bhutan. Their visit to India will be an introduction to a country that they plan to build an enduring relationship with," a royal spokesman previously said in a statement about the couple's upcoming adventure.
