Before we know it, there will be another member added to the ever-growing royal family! On Oct. 15, Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting baby No. 1, and now, fans can’t help but wonder: when is Meghan due?

So it turns out, the royal bundle of joy is expected to arrive sooner than everyone thought. According to the couple’s birth announcement, the little one is due sometime in the spring of 2019. But during Meghan and Harry’s first public outing of 2019 on Monday, Jan. 14, Meghan gave even more insight about her due date. “We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy,” well-wisher Carla Gandy, who was also visiting Birkenhead, Merseyside with her 4-year-old daughter Sofia told People. According to the outlet, the 37-year-old also told others that were in Hamilton Square that she’s due in late April. How exciting!

The pair — who has opened up about wanting babies time and time again —  first shared their exciting news in mid-October. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” their message read.

Meg seems to be following her sister-in-law Kate Middleton‘s suit. The Duchess of Cambridge previously gave birth to two of her children in the spring: Princess Charlotte, 3, on May 2 and Prince Louis, 5 months, on April 23. That said, we’re sure Kate will have some helpful hand-me-downs for Meg since she welcomed both a girl and a boy the same time Meg will.
