Aww! Sebastian Maniscalco has paved quite the career for himself over the last years, but the beloved comedian couldn’t have done it without the help of his wife, Lana Gomez. Besides hosting the 2019 MTV VMAs on Monday, August 26, there is a lot that he has to smile about lately.

On August 24, Sebastian and Lana took to social media to wish each other a happy 6th wedding anniversary. “Six amazing fun crazy years of marriage and we picked up 2 more munchkins along the way!!! [Love] you @sebastiancomedy,” Lana wrote in the caption.

She’s an Accomplished Painter

After attending college at the University of Tennessee, Lana moved to Los Angeles where she pursued a career as an artist. Since her first show in 2008 at Judith Liegeois Designs, the brunette beauty has created quite the name for herself in the art community.

Besides being featured in publications like House Beautiful, InStyle, Lonny, Los Angeles Confidential, and The New Yorker — among many others — Lana’s artwork was also displayed on famous Sunset Boulevard in the West Hollywood neighborhood of L.A. for creating a 10-foot sculpture for Gibson GuitarTown.

Lana’s love for art first began at a very young after her dad introduced her to painting. In late 2016, she shared a sweet photo of her painting as a little girl. “#tbt circa 1991 Little Lana and her dad used to paint together for fun!” she captioned the pic. “Go get some canvas and paints and have at it with your kids! It’s a great way to spend time together.”

They Met at the Gym

This may be surprising, but Sebastian and Lana didn’t meet in the most typical of places. The beloved comedian once dished that he met the love of his life while sharing the same personal trainer at a gym they were both going to. In 2015, Sebastian opened up to The Fighter and The Kid about how he was introduced to his wife.

“I asked him, I go, ‘You got any good lookin’ girls?’ he recalled, explaining that he was hoping his personal trainer could hook him up and match his workout schedule with one of the possible suitors. When his trainer suggested he come in the morning to meet Lana, Sebastian hesitated but went anyway. “I saw her and we started talking and she was on the treadmill and I said, ‘You want to go out with this?'”

Although Lana initially rejected Sebastian with some humor, the couple ended up dating — and the rest is history!

She Is From a Jewish Family

Sebastian’s gorgeous wife was first born in Naples, Florida, on September 6, 1983, to a Jewish mother and father. Fans have learned a lot about Lana over the years, considering she has become a prominent part of her husband’s stand-up routine after getting married. In fact, the handsome hunk — who talks about life with Lana and his in-laws in his new Netflix special, Stay Hungry — most memorably told a story in 2015 about his wife’s family in an iconic skit about celebrating Passover.

The Italian-American hilariously poked fun at the differences between his respective heritage and his wife’s Jewish upbringings. He also quipped that his wife is from a family that is more forgiving than his and also teased about their religious differences in a previous Netflix special, Aren’t You Impressed.

She Is a Mom of Two

Four years after tying the knot in 2013, Lana and Sebastian became parents for the first time after welcoming their baby girl, Serafina Simone Maniscalco, in May 2017. Besides their sweet 2-year-old daughter, the adorable couple is also the proud mom and dad of their newest bundle of joy, son Caruso Jack Maniscalco.

Lana and Sebastian welcomed their second child in mid-June. The doting daddy took to Instagram at the time and shared this super sweet pic of their two kiddos snuggling up together. “Look what we got!! Caruso Jack Maniscalco,” the comedic legend gushed in the caption. Aww!

She’s Hilarious Like Her Husband

Her husband may be one of Hollywood’s most famous comedians, but Sebastian isn’t the only one causing laughs in their household! Lana has established quite the reputation when it comes to cracking jokes considering her Instagram is constantly flooded with hilarious content and captions.

In August 2018, the stunning mama shared a super cute pic of her husband and daughter sitting in a baby crib. “Apparently @sebastiancomedy is feeling safe in Serafina’s crib now that the Wonder Bumpers are on @gomamagodesigns #bedhead 😂😂😂,” she captioned a post.

Lana also shared a pic of her and Sebastian grabbing a bite to eat in San Francisco in March 2016. “Just ate so much garlic grab while getting a garlic steam facial. Guaranteed Sebastian will post this same photo on facebook and use MY joke about the garlic facial. Just watch … Lol,” she wrote.
