Ryan Seacrest Reveals He’s Fallen For Girlfriend Shayna Taylor: ‘It’s Been Wonderful’
Even though Ryan Seacrest is busy working 78 different jobs, believe it or not he’s had time to shack up with Shayna Taylor, and now he’s saying that he’s fallen for the 26-year-old chef and model.
The 43-year-old sat down with PEOPLE to discuss his relationship with Shayna and how they went from friends in 2013 to completely nuts about each other in 2018. And all that it took was their love of food. “It was the first time we were together, and she said, ‘I make these amazing gluten-free pancakes,’ and I said, ‘What?! Well, tell me everything!’” Ryan said, while probably skipping with joy. “That is all it took for me to really fall,” Ryan added. See? Food is everything. Shayna also agrees that it’s all about “food chemistry.”
Ryan has no problem continuing to gush about how crazy he is about Shayna, saying, “We’re very in sync. Moving to a new city together [the pair moved to New York City from L.A. together in 2017 when Ryan got the gig to co-host Live With Kelly] was fun because we were also having a new chapter together.” “Living together is easy,” Ryan adds.
Even though Ryan and Shayna called it quits in 2014, they have since made up and are back together, ready to make it work even though both are extremely busy. “For the last six months, we both wake up an hour earlier than we used to so we have time together to work out, take a walk, take our time without having to rush. … It’s been wonderful,” Ryan said. Are their children in Ryan’s future? You know, someone he can leave his boatload of cash to like Simon Cowell is doing with his kid.
“Family is so important to me, and to Shayna as well, but I’ve always tried to put life into a master schedule with deadlines, and I don’t want to do that [with Shayna],” Ryan said, adding, “We both try to actually be in this moment, feel this connection, enjoy it and let it grow.” Ahh, so they’re trying to have fun now before a baby puts an end to that. Makes sense.
